Best Sound at the Show

Stereophile magazine, Larry Greenhill

"Amplifiers sounded superb, with tight, bottomless bass, effortless dynamics, and spacious soundstage..."

…M1 monoblock MOS-FET amplifiers…garnered my vote for best sound. …Driving Wilson WATTs/Puppies through Purist Audio Design cables and resting on Microscan amplifier supports,…amplifiers sounded superb, with tight, bottomless bass, effortless dynamics, and spacious soundstage. I have never heard the WATTs/Puppies sound so good.

Gramophone magazine, Andy Giles

One of the star performances with the 100-watt class A hybrid monoblock model M1 and M2, a class A/AB 200-watt model. The company also unveiled a preamplifier, L1

Hi-Fi News & Record Review, Ken Kessler

"Two power amplifiers were the first of the ‘must hears’ that came to my attention"

…two power amplifiers were the first of the ‘must hears’ that came to my attention, the M1 being a 100W class A hybrid monoblock (one 6DJ8 in the second stage) capable of handling loads down to 1 Ohm; the M2 is a class A/AB 200 watter based on the M1 concept. Neither employs overall feedback. Both are firmly of the built-to-last school, industrial but bomb-proof. The L1 is the forthcoming pre-amp, with seven inputs and a built-in remote facility for use with these monoblocks.

"The M1s sounded so good that they had the best sound at the show"

For the first time at the High-End Show, the M1s sounded so good that they had the best sound at the show and I think it was the best sound ever!!! …Regarding the speakers, it was the best the Watt Puppies have ever sounded; the combination of the M1 amplifiers and the Watts are the best!
